Sorry it has been so long, but life has a way of catching up with you when your in college. Or so I found out! But I'm now on summer break and my imagination is fast at work again. Current projects include trying to find a way to have quail near our farmett in WV, launching a Kickstarter fundraiser site for the LIFE BALLET to come to Bethel in the fall, and finding a summer job, hopefully in the hospital. So...ya.
Nursing school is fun - in a "this is so hard and I love what I'm doing though I don't always feel like I know what that is" sort of way. It's awesome. I have some pretty awesome professors at Bethel too. They drill into us what we need to know and make sure we really know it by giving us some pretty, stinkin' hard tests. But thankfully "mercy was mingled with justice" and I'm happy to report that I came out okay along with many other classmates!
It was a great school year - I am so grateful for the friends God has given to me at Bethel. Moriah, Anya, and Becca for roomies next year...girls I can't wait!! And...drumroll please!...I am going to be an RA!!! (Resident Assistant - in charge of leading about 44 girls in discipline and courage during dorm life.) Whoot!! Though just the thought is overwhelming at times I know God is greater and will lead me through.
So a verse to leave you with, today....
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
